Posted by: Beadle on Sunday, September 27th, 2009

Given the national and international vibrancy of Korean popular culture, Education About Asia is publishing a two-part special series that will examine the richness and diversity of a variety of activities that interest ordinary people. The focus of the winter 2009 special series is on film in Korean popular culture. The spring 2010 series will emphasize Korean traditional and contemporary popular culture. Both special series will include essays and reviews where authors address a variety of topics ranging from sports and technology to folk religions and music.

Funding was generously provided by the Korea Foundation.
