Pre-registration Deadline Near for Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference
October 19 is the deadline to pre-register for the 19th Japanese/Korean Linguistics Conference, to be held November 12-14, 2009, at the University of Hawaii Center for Korean Studies in Honolulu. Participants and others planning to attend the conference are strongly encouraged to pre-register in order to take advantage of lower registration fees and to assist the conference staff in its planning.
Fees for pre-registrants are $20 for students and $35 for faculty and other attendees. The fees for those who do not pre-register will be $35 for students and $50 for faculty and other attendees. All fees will be collected upon arrival at the conference and need not be submitted in advance. The registration fee covers a free conference information packet (including conference abstracts), three continental breakfasts, three lunches, and two dinners.
This conference is sponsored by the UH Center for Korean Studies, the Academy of Korean Studies, the UH Japanese Studies Endowment Committee/Center for Japanese Studies, and the UH National Resource Center-East Asia RTRF.
